Lionel Messi created history by winning the World Cup on Sunday 18th December 2022.Although his rival Cristiano Ronaldo had a bad season and a bad World Cup, Messi went ahead and had a great start to the season and the World Cup. Fans are now expecting him to win the Ballon D'or (Best player of the year) award.
